Henley is unique
The Henley Executive MBA program course is all about you and your business. The idea behind education is that you can do it already. With our guidance and that of your fellow students, you must now learn to develop into the best version of yourself.
The approach is known as the "Syndicate Method," and it entails learning from the syndicate—that is, from academic authorities—as well as, to a considerable part, from your fellow students. You will constantly be required to evaluate the theories in light of your own worldview and solicit input from your fellow students. By doing so, you actively utilize their knowledge and frame of reference, much as how you as a manager utilize the knowledge present within the company and your network. Henley therefore takes an active and useful approach to the dissemination and use of knowledge. The path to an MBA is not the simplest, and we are the most demanding of the Danish MBA programs with a tremendous 90 ECTS credits, but everyone agrees that it was all worthwhile.
Syndicate method – in short
- Henley's instructors are frequently practitioners who have later reinforced their expertise with a strong academic background.
- The way the educational materials are set up forces you to constantly evaluate the theories in light of your own worldview.
- The course materials are designed to effectively convey new information so that you can spend your time putting the theories into practice.
- You compose all of your assignments exclusively for your own company. (The stage 1 test is an exception; all Henley MBA students worldwide are required to write about the identical, brand-new case.)
- One out of every three workshop days is dedicated to Syndicate Method workshops, where you can spar with other participants about your task and learn more about their background, challenges, etc.
- The education offers a lot of flexibility since you can customize your study schedule so that the scope of each job is appropriate for you and your current difficulty.
